Shri Siddesh Ramdas Kadam

Shri Siddesh Ramdas Kadam is the Chairman of the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB), Government of Maharashtra, providing strategic leadership in environmental governance, pollution prevention and control, regulatory compliance, and sustainable environmental management across the state.

With a strong focus on strengthening Maharashtra’s environmental performance, Shri Kadam has been associated with initiatives addressing air and water pollution, waste management, sewage treatment, industrial compliance, environmental monitoring, and sustainable urban development. Dr. Ranjith Krishna Pai

Dr. Ranjith Krishna Pai is a distinguished Scientist at the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India, with over 24 years of international research, academic, and science leadership experience. His work focuses on translating frontier research into technologies, national programmes, and policy frameworks that advance sustainable development, energy security, clean energy transition, and industrial decarbonisation.

At DST, Dr. Pai leads and contributes to several strategic national initiatives spanning Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies, Hydrogen Valley Innovation Clusters (HVICs), Materials for Energy Storage (MES), Advanced Materials for Energy Storage Technologies (AMEST), and the Integrated Clean Energy Material Acceleration Platform (IC-MAP). He also contributes to international bilateral and multilateral collaborations in clean energy and hydrogen technologies.

Dr. Pai played a key role in conceptualising India’s Hydrogen Valley Innovation Cluster (HVIC) framework, now being implemented under the National Green Hydrogen Mission, and has contributed to initiatives such as the India–Netherlands Hydrogen Fellowship Programme.
